Iām Taking Action to Protect Children From Gun Violence
Every single day, kid's lives are at risk from gun violence - and that can be prevented. Sandy Hook Promise works tirelessly to stop school shootings and save lives through proven programs that teach students and adults to recognize warning signs and take action before tragedy strikes.
As a teenager, I'm very passionate about working to prevent gun violence. However, as a teenager, I am often heavily overlooked as an activist and I want to prove that no matter our age, we can make a difference. We can help save lives.
Through this fundraiser, I am working to make a difference in our society, and you can too! Just by donating a small amount, you can help develop Sandy Hook Promise's programs that work to educate and prevent gun violence. Even the smallest donation is largely appreciated!
About Me
Hello! My name is Emery Smith! I am a 16 year-old High School Student in New York City! I have always been very passionate about standing up for what I believe in. Through research, volunteering and fundraising I am able to make a difference and fight for what I believe in. Getting to create this fundraiser has helped me learn so much more about the issue of gun violence and I believe that your never done learning. I wish to continue fighting for change for as long as I can - continuing to make a difference.
